Multi-Stem Vine Maple (Acer circinatum) is a deciduous shrub or small tree that is native to the Pacific Northwest region of North America. It typically grows to a height of 10-25 feet (3-8 meters) and has a spreading, multi-stemmed growth habit.

The leaves of the Multi-Stem Vine Maple are palmate and have 7-9 lobes. They are typically green in color, but can turn yellow, orange, or red in the fall. The branches are slender and somewhat drooping, giving the plant a graceful appearance.

The Multi-Stem Vine Maple produces clusters of small, red or greenish-yellow flowers in the spring, which are followed by winged, paired samaras (also known as "helicopters") in the summer. These samaras are often bright red when they first emerge, gradually turning brown as they mature.

This plant is often used in landscaping for its attractive foliage and graceful shape. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial shade to full sun. In the wild, it is often found in damp forests and along streambanks.
